This video is a warts-and-all look at what really happens during the initial stage of truffle training with our new lagotto romagnolo. Amazing feedback and questions from lovely viewers have given me a fascinating insight into the problems faced by aspiring truffle dog trainers. In retrospect, I feel that some of our earlier training videos do not give an accurate picture. Going through the steps with a pre-trained dog is useful as it shows the process, however it does not prepare you for the gloriously messy reality. I hope this video redresses the balance,
