Watch again as Mexico City residents took part in the reenactment of Cinco de Mayo.

Residents are expected to march, dance and fire blanks from muskets to mark the anniversary of the 1862 victory over French troops in the nearby city of Puebla.

The French invasion set up the 1864-67 reign of Emperor Maximillian, who was later deposed and executed.
