Hey all you family travel fans out there! We’re back with a great video today - this time we’re visiting the beautiful island of Isla Mujeres, Mexico. Isla Mujeres sits just off the coast of Cancun, Mexico, and is a very popular destination for day-trippers, beach bums and resort-goers alike.
Just earlier this month, in December of 2020, we did a day trip from our resort in Cancun to Isla Mujeres. Come and join us as we start out at the Hard Rock Hotel, Cancun and make the drive to the ferry terminal. We set sail on our boat and make a stop for some snorkeling first before we head over to the island for lunch at Ice Bar in a quaint outdoor beachside setting.
After lunch, we head back to the boat and sail around the western side of Isla Mujeres where we see Playa Norte and Playa Sol before making our way to the Terminal Marítima Isla Mujeres where we start out our walking adventure on the island. We make our way from the terminal to Playa Sol where we find two beach chairs, an umbrella and some relaxation.
After relaxing at Playa Sol, we make the return walk to the terminal, browsing the shops along the way before we depart the island headed back to Cancun.
