The Eastern Cape will host the ANC's January 8th statement, to be delivered by President Jacob Zuma's successor in East London.
The fate of the newly elected Provincial Executive Committee - tasked with organising the event - will be on the agenda of a National Executive Committee meeting next week. The announcement was made after national party leaders spent two days in the province trying to resolve tensions in the wake of last month's provincial elective congress.
