• Closing thoughts:
o On wrist – Wears surprisingly a lot like my SBDC101 (SPB143), so very well balanced both physically and visually, although spec-wise a lot more comparable to my SJE101 Marinemaster
o Model Variants – Also available with your choice of a 3-link Rivet-style or integrated Rubber strap
o Comparable models – It under cuts the Omega Seamaster 300 with the only objective trade-offs being an Aluminum vs. Ceramic insert and Brand prestige with Tudor forever being a value-forward Rolex alternative, while Omega is a bonified Rolex competitor (not sales-wise but in terms of historical significance)
o Bottom-line – I think this will be a smash hit with both the enthusiast and casual markets, when the original ETA powered Black Bays were introduced many hoped for an eventual non-patina, monochromatic variation and all of these years later, its finally here
A great default choice for both the young professional, as well as the seasoned collectors, Tudor continues to live in a sweet spot spread across the broad market
