Most plugin companies have several tricks to try to trick you into believing that their plugins better sounding than they actually are by ways of boosting the output, because they think that you may think that louder is better but none of the analog obsession plugins increase the gain when driving the plugin, universal audio does that all the time, analog obsession was not trying to trick me with level increases which a sign of security on their part.
