On September 28, the Middle East Council on Global Affairs held a webinar that convened a panel of experts to analyze Iraq’s prospects of averting a violent escalation that could produce untold suffering. The webinar examined ongoing efforts to form a government, the future of the post-2003 political order, and the role outside actors, like the United States and Iran, can play to de-escalate tensions.
