Typhoon Mawar, officially Super Typhoon Mawar by the Joint Typhoon Warning Center, continues to intensify as it exits the Mariana Island Regions as well as the US Territory of Guam and is beginning to rapidly improve in eye structure and intensify as it heads off to the Northwest. As per our latest CAT Team estimates, Super Typhoon Mawar has now regained Category 5 status with maximum sustained winds of 160 mph, and an estimated pressure of 921 mb, with more intensification expected to follow.
