THE ANNOTATIONS APPEAR NOT TO BE WORKING ANY MORE, SO IF YOU WANT THE LYRICS AND CHORDS, SEND ME YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS AND I WILL SEND YOU THE FILE I WORKED FROM, FROM MY OWN COLLECTION.
Having uploaded the Rambling Irishman the other day, I wanted to check up on the spelling of Lough Erne as some sources spelt it Erin. It is indeed Erne, but I suppose people could be forgiven for thinking it is Erin, as it tends to sound like that when spoken or sung. This led me to this song, Lough Erne's Shore. I discovered the lyrics on a couple of sites, but when searching for the tune, found I was listening to Paddy's Green Shamrock Shore which is what The Corrs are playing under the title Lough Erne's Shore. I did manage to find a couple of versions of the correct tune however, so here is my interpretation and arrangement.
I have just produced a book of songs under the title "50 Songs from the 'threelegsoman' collection". It is available as a printed book or as an eBook and can be found at:
