Vintage World War II aircraft gather to perform a flyover of Washington, D.C. and the WWII memorial to mark the 70th anniversary of the end of WWII in Europe(VE Day). This event included ceremonies at the WWII memorial. The gathering was the brainchild of numerous people coming together as the group called the "Arsenal of Democracy". This video is of practice for the event filmed at Culpeper Regional Airport(KCJR) near Culpeper, VA. Aircraft up to B-25's were billeted here and larger aircraft such as B-17's and B-29 were billeted at Manassas Regional Airport(KHEF) in Manassas, VA
