As a dietitian, I am often asked if diabetics eat cabbage and is cabbage good for diabetics. During our conversation, we discuss prediabetes diet plan recipes as well as the relationship between cabbage and diabetes. At the end of the session, individuals realize this cabbage recipe for diabetics is part of a perfect dinner recipe for prediabetes.
Cabbage Recipe for Diabetics
1 head of cabbage OR 2 pkgs of shredded cabbage
1 onion, chopped
¼ cup olive oil
1 tsp Redmond Real Salt
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Line a pan with non-stick aluminium foil.
Combine all ingredients in a bowl.
Pour on lined pan.
Roast for 30-35 minutes (stir halfway through).
Serve.
