The Great Southern Rail (GSR) Melbourne to Adelaide "Overland" passenger train, running 3 hours late, enters Gheringhap loop and crosses a QRNational (QRN, now Aurizon) freight train. The Overland is hauled by a single NR class locomotive while the freight train has a 6000 class and LDP class for its motive power.
