This was back in 2011. My hubby, Mike, and I had decided that we'd go wine tasting every Sunday -- after all, we live in a huge wine region on the CA Central Coast. However, the following week, Mike was diagnosed with stage four throat cancer.
It was a long, grueling battle, but thankfully, he made it! But he can't drink wine. It burns his throat and tastes funny now. The good news is he can still taste sweets!
