Subscribe & take a magical journey as four young baby chicks (Elsa, Anna, Olaf, and Sven) have the adventure of a lifetime living with thegardeningdad.com and his family at the Hallowed Aussie Acres.
You'll be able to watch these baby chickens eat, sleep, play, and grow into beautiful chickens that will be part of sustainable living and homesteading, where their eggs will be used at the Hallowed Aussie Acres by thegardeningdad.
In just a few short months these baby chickens will be placed outside where there will be a camera inside their coop (watch them lay eggs) and out in their pen (these will be free ranged chickens too). This will be great for anyone who wants to learn about a day in the life of a chicken or just want to watch chickens doing funny things!
And pay close attention and you may even get a guest appearance from Sequoia, our Australian Shepherd.

Now for the characters:
Elsa
(Ameraucians Chicken)
Elsa, perfectly named for being a blue-egg layer can easily be identified by her beautiful and soft gray feathers. She is docile, friendly, curious, and you can almost always find her doing her own thing. She is also growing incredibly fast and almost always seems to be eating. She loves to be held, even by crazy two year old boys!
Anna
(Buff Orpington)
Like the Anna we all know in love, this Buff Orpington (which can be identified by her beautiful golden feathers) is lovable, outgoing, and just a fun chicken to have around. She enjoys being around other chickens and loves humans almost as much!
Sven
(Blue Cochin)
What can we say about Sven. You can easily identify her by the wide range of colored feathers she has. She also seems to be the trouble maker of the bunch. She sometimes will bother the other chickens, loves causing a mess, and seems to be the most adventurous. She is also still warming up to humans, but before you know it she'll be perched on our arms
Sequoia
(Australian Shepherd Dog)
You can't miss Sequoia. She is curious about the chickens but also is their keeper. She loves when they chirp and quickly tends to them if she feels they are in danger. She will be the hit of the show when the chickens move outside as she will most likely herd them and try to play with them. She is the best dog and friend a gardening dad could ask for!
Olaf
(Polish Chicken)
Olaf is the smallest of the 4 chicken breeds. You can identify her by her "crazy yellow hair". She also may become the most beautiful as she grows with her crazy-looking hair and feathers. She is a tad skittish, enjoys being around other chickens and you can almost always see her cuddled up next to them at night for warmth. She is the perfect chicken for humans as she is very gentle and loving.
