Rideau Lakes Council voted against receiving the integrity commissioner's report and making it public, despite cautions from the mayor that doing so may be illegal. Councillors voting against accountability called the report "flawed", "inappropriate" and a result of a "personal vendetta" against who we can only assume is Councillor Carr. This council's decision to withhold the integrity commissioner's report is highly unusual and raises significant questions about transparency and accountability.
