In this issue, Colossus is reunited with his older brother Mikhail, whom he thought dead; meanwhile, Archangel is appointed the leader of the Worldly Avatar of the Triumvirate's forces, and he readies to take on the rebels; Mikhail explains to Colossus that he's regarded as a saviour by the rebels because he closed the portal once before, but in doing so killed the previous Avatar, and his own wife, as well as their people, and so he does not want to use his power again; the two alien forces battle each other; when Colossus is injured while defending Iceman, Mikhail decides to close the portal, and his success sends the X-Men and himself back to Earth, where they are picked up by Prof. X and Forge in the blackbird!
