Austria is a country full of music. Mozart, Johann Strauss, Josef Haydn, Falco, Reinhard Fendrich and Udo Jürgens - they all are austrian. But nowadays there is another music star in Austria: A locomotive! The 1116-series of the national austrian railways ÖBB are also able to play some music. At least they can play the tonescale - and they do whenever they start driving.
On Friday, July 30th 2021 I filmed the ÖBB 1116-153, which is painted in a special ÖAMTC-advertisement livery, pushing the Railjet 558 out of the station Wien Meidling heading to Wien HBF (Vienna Main Station), which is the final destination of this train. Please listen ...
