30 April 2020 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
During the peak of lockdown as the Lafarge meat packing plant outside High River was at its worst. As I was riding through Fish Creek Provincial Park during the sunrise, I encountered a cougar which promptly ran away after it heard me coming. I waited for it to get away far enough before I resumed my ride through downtown in the golden hour.
