*Amritsari Fish Fry Recipe*
*Ingredients*
- 4 fish fillets (any white fish works, e.g., cat fish ,tilapia)
- 1/2 cup gram flour (besan)
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 cup rice flour
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon ajwain seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
- pinch of Hing
- Salt, to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Oil, for frying
*Instructions*
1. In a bowl, mix gram flour, cornstarch, rice flour , lemon juice, water, ajwain seeds, turmeric powder , red chili powder, salt , hing and black pepper.
2. Add fish fillets; marinate for 20 minutes.
3. Heat oil; fry fish 2 times until golden and crispy (3-4 minutes per side).
4. Drain excess oil.

1. Mix all ingredients.
2. Refrigerate for atleastlt 20 minutes
