Watch Minister for Transport and Roads, and Deputy Secretary of TfNSW’s call to run trials of zero emission buses in Sydney and Outer Sydney metropolitan areas.
Transport for NSW is calling for expressions of interest (EOI) from leaders in the energy, transport, manufacturing and financing sectors to participate in trials of zero emission buses and associated technologies.
The EOI will explore multiple trials of zero emission technology, including battery electric and hydrogen fuel cell buses, as well as the technology, infrastructure and systems required to operate these fleets at increasing levels of scale.
Trials will be undertaken in partnership with transport operators in the Sydney and Outer Sydney Metropolitan areas and are part of the TfNSW strategy to transition our entire bus fleet to zero emissions.
