Reprieve has come the way of some Pro-Wike lawmakers in the Rivers state house of assembly amid threats of losing their seats.
This is as a High Court in the state Presided over by Justice Okogbule Gbasam has dismissed a suit seeking to declare their seats vacant for alleged defection to the All Progressives Congress, insisting they are still members of the PDP
In its judgment, the court held that the lawmakers are still members of the Peoples Democratic Party after the claimants failed to provide proof as required by law of the defendants said membership of the APC.
