Day one of Alicante, Spain. We based ourselves in a small town called Albatera about 30 mins away from Alicante. We started out a lot later than planned due to damage incurred on Mike's beautiful LOOK bike during transit from Gatwick to Alicante airport. So after dealing with that we managed to get Mike a hire bike as well as pick up the ones we had booked and with sunlight fading fast took our bikes for a short spin to test them out and get a lay of the land.
