Hello! This is my narration of 'The Untethered Soul' by Michael A. Singer.
This book contains some genuinely great chapters that have heavily influenced my perception of the "self" and my identification with it.
I chose to record this narration, not because it is a solid book through and through, but rather because the parts in which it hits, it hits out of the park.
Going into this book with some patience and an open mind is the best way to consume and apply it's advice/contents.
The Untethered Soul contains chapters with such valuable guidance that, if one can practice the mindfulness practices described, can help to accept and proceed through almost any personal difficulty.
My gripes with the book are primarily due to the repetitive messaging in the second half, as well as the somewhat consistent over-simplification and over-generalisation regarding particular real-life examples. But if one can manage to look past these shortcomings and detach through mindfulness, the advice will be insightful and invaluable.
In my opinion, it's well worth a read and worth a listen. I really hope you enjoy!!! c:
