Requisition submitted for NA session to move no-trust vote
Joint opposition set to address key press confernece
The opposition has submitted a requisition with the National Assembly speaker to convene an NA session where it plans to move a no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Democratic Movement and Pakistan Peoples Party leaders are holding a joint press conference in Islamabad at 3:30pmn today. They are set to make a key announcement, SAMAA TV reported.
The press conference will be addressed by Asif Ali Zardari, Shehbaz Sharif, and Maulana Fazlur Rehman.
PPP and Pakistan Mulsim League Nawaz have instructed all their parliamentarians to be in Islamabad, the TV reported.
The opposition has made a final decision to move a no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan as Punjab’s political situation is also evolving, sources say.
SAMAA TV’s Asim Naseer reported that five to six PMLN and PPP members, including Naveed Qamar and Rana Sanaullah, arrived Tuesday afternoon at the the National Assembly to submit a requisition for assembly’s session and no-confidence motion against PM Imran Khan.
Sources have told SAMAA TV that federal ministers Asad Umar and Fawad Chaudhry, and the Punjab governor also want to see a change in the Punjab government.
This comes as Bilawal Bhutto Zardari enters Islamabad leading an Awami March. PMLN is sending a high-level delegation to the D-Chowk to participate in the march.

Imran calls opposition a ‘bouquet of dacoits’
On the other hand, Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that he was ready for anything.
Addressing an event at Rawalpindi’s Fatima Jinnah Women University, he ended his speech taking a dig at his opponents.
Calling them “bouquet of dacoits” and a “pack of thieves,” he said that he was among top five to six best captains during his cricket career.
