In this Vocabulary Building lesson , we look at Adam’s recommendation for an approach to learning more words quickly.
The idea is called ‘chunking’, which means learning words in small, related groups, or chunks, that relate to a specific topic, like shopping. By learning words in relation to one another, you have an added tool to help you remember them and apply them in many contexts.
Words should also be collected in categories. This lesson presents the six categories we will use to chunk our words.
