Today’s walk around Ubud, Bali finds us meeting a young women eager to find a good man and become a mom. Laura speaks great English which she learnt from watching western horror movies. I speak with her as she makes her way to work today.
We also meet a wonderful artists who allows us into his home to look at his artwork and chat with him. He tells us of his artistic heritage as well as his accomplishments in gaining a bachelor’s degree and teaching.
I take coffee with a local coffee seller on the side of the street and he tells me his wife is across the road selling her burbur.
Down a pretty lane we inspect a very beautiful ornate Balinese door and meet two of the occupants who live in the home behind it.
We also meet a man on his way to a priest’s house on this great morning walk around Ubud today.
