This is the first of a few winter sowing reveals. Perennials are so expensive, so I like to winter sow them so that I can grow many plants and then set them and forget them outside! I plan to thin them out, pot them up and grow them on for a bit.

Perennials that have germinated so far in the milk jugs: Gaillardia, False Indigo / Baptisia, few varieties of Dianthus, many varieties of Echinacea / Coneflower, Primrose, Ox Eye Daisies, Bee Balm, few colors of Obedient Plant / Turtlehead, Coreopsis, Delphinium, English Lawn Daisy, Mallow, Helenium / Sneezeweed, Heliopsis / False Sunflower,
