This is an overview of the very versatile Janome Combi all-in-one sewing machine and serger which is a great, robust machine.
Gives you the best of both worlds, a sewing machine with most of the functions any sewer would want, with the added benefit of a two thread serger for tidying up the edge of seams and stopping them from fraying.
The sewing machine comes with several built in stitches such as zig zag, applique, stretch stitches, button hole and of course, straight stitching. It also has drop feed for free motion/darning and embroidery capability.
To swap between the sewing machine and the serger, you just flip a knob, pull a lever and turn the machine 180 degrees on its carousel base. The machine in use is automatically enabled and the other is disabled.
