Valium (Diazepam) has a metabolite called Desmethyldiazepam, which has a half-life of up to 100 hours! This means, that the metabolites of valium can last up to 21 days in someone's system. While this medication may be helpful for some, it's important to discuss the risks and benefits with your provider.
