The central railway(line) of mumbai suburban railway is public transit system serving mumbai,maharashtra,india.
The line was opened in 16 april 1853 , 170 years ago. The central railway have 62 stattions.
The central line mumbai consists of Three major corridors, one is on Csmt to Kalyan junction 55 KM, where it bifurcates into two corridors one running upto kasara 67km in the th east and other running upto khopli 61 km in the south east.
The central main line shares one station with the western railway line at dadar.
The major car sheds on this line are at kurla and kalva.
