The Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad operates on 64 spectacular miles of narrow gauge track in the Rocky Mountains, connecting Chama in northern New Mexico with Antonito in southern Colorado. Voted the Best Scenic Train Ride in 2020 by USA Today readers, the railroad crosses the CO/NM border 11 times as it winds it way across 10,015 foot Cumbres Pass. This authentic steam powered railroad was designated a National Historic Landmark in 2012, and a ride across Cumbres Pass is truly a trip back to an earlier time.
This footage was filmed in 2017 and 2018 and will be part of a future full-length DVD/Blu-ray release.
