"Beautiful Sunday was written by Daniel Boone and Rod McQueen and performed by Boone. Featured on his 1972 album Beautiful Sunday, it was produced by Larry Page and arranged by Boone. This song became one of the biggest international hits in British bubblegum pop.
Born Peter Green, he later changed his name to Peter Lee Stirling. In 1971, he joined Larry Page's Penny Farthing Records as a singer-songwriter, adopting the name Daniel Boone. His first release, "Daddy Don’t You Walk So Fast" peaked at No.17 on the UK Singles Chart, marking his first major success.
