A judge has declared a mistrial in a murder case and ordered the defendant to undergo mental health treatment.Judge John Stevens made the decision today after a psychologist and psychiatrist both said 40-year-old Clevert Tyler was not competent to stand trial.Prosecutors say Tyler shot and killed 42-year-old Sheila Vallian last year.Investigators found her body near Avenue A at about 9 in the evening June 12, 2012. Vallian had a bullet wound to her head.According to investigators, Tyler called 9-1-1 and told the operator he'd just shot a woman.Police arrested Tyler at his home.He'll undergo mental health treatment for four months, and then doctors will re-evaluate him.If he stands trial and a jury convicts him, Tyler would face up to life in prison.
