Tropical Storm Ophelia made landfall early this morning along the North Carolina coast. The storm produced tropical storm force winds, heavy rain, and large waves. In Emerald Isle, large waves can be seen breaking on the pier. In Atlantic Beach, strong winds are causing sand to be blown from the beaches.
