ADVMoto Magazine has made the decision to change publication frequency from bi-monthly to seasonal, starting from the Summer 2024 issue. This decision was not made lightly, but we believe it is the right step forward to ensure the sustainability and longevity of ADVMoto in an ever-evolving media landscape.
Our goal is, and always will be, to make a better book.The current economic, industry and media conditions require both readership and partner support to produce and deliver a physical product of any scale.
While we will be expanding our web content in the coming months, maintaining print is not only good for ADVMoto but the whole media and economic ecosystem. Producing a physical product creates employment for many services. These jobs span from motorcycle writers around the world, to our layout team in Philadelphia, the off-set press operators in Kentucky and the shipping/mailing organizations that get our copies where they need to go around the planet. While automation has supplanted many functions of these jobs, we believe supporting people who often do complex, back-breaking work should be provided opportunity and security.
This support is not just important for ADVMoto, but all endemic motorcycle media organizations. Your subscription goes a long way, but your voice is crucial in ensuring the riders who create content continue to have professional outlets to do so. If you’ve ever been entertained, informed or educated from publishers like ADVMoto, please let the advertisers know! The unfortunate fact is many passionate motorcycle content creators have left the industry over the past decade because it simply does support a single lifestyle, much less raising a family. Those who still provide many of your daily updates, largely do so out of passion and commitment to the community and activity they love. You’ll know the advertisers who support the motorcycle community because you will see them nearly everywhere. You’ll see them on the pages of your favorite magazine or book, sponsoring events or prizes and showing up at your favorite rallies.
