Canada’s federal government, the provinces and Canadians themselves are to blame for the low uptake of the COVID Alert app, said an infectious disease expert.
Dr. Craig Jenne is calling on more Canadians to download the COVID-19 tracking app and for better coordination between the provinces and the federal government. He said this is needed to help the app be a key tool in keeping the Canadian economy open and preventing the spread of the novel coronavirus.
