Hardly anyone in NYC has any significant yard real estate, except my mom's house in Queens. Most people in this area has knocked down their house and built mini mansions which means they don't have much of a backyard, if any. My mom's house, while it has also gone through upgrades and renovation, she never sacrificed yard space. I may have the only riding mower in this area! I had a good time today cutting through OVERGROWN IVY and brush, but at the sacrifice of a flat tire. There was a few hidden planks of wood from the past renovation construction hidden in the OVERGROWN IVY and ran over a nail. I did manage to clean up the yard and made some extra real estate which is very valuable in the big apple.
