Here is a list of all the current Disneyland and Disney California Adventure ride and attraction closures for the month of January, 2025. Please note, Disney often changes the dates of these closures, whether to move the reopening up, delay opening, or cancel a project entirely. Always check with the Disneyland website for the most up-to-date information.
Haunted Mansion Holiday will close on January 7th to remove the Nightmare Before Christmas overlay (FINALLY!). It will reopen on January 17th.
The Disneyland Monorail will close on January 6th for an extended refurbishment. No reopening is available.
"it's a small world" Holiday will close on January 12th to remove the Christmas overlay along with a continuation of the refurbishment started last year. No opening date is available.
The Disneyland Railroad will close on January 13th to continue its retracking project. No opening date is available.
The Mark Twain River Boat will be closed from January 6th to 10th.
Pixie Hollow closed on September 15th and after several delays remains closed with no opening date currently listed.
Great Moments With Mr. Lincoln closed with little fanfare on April 16th, 2024. "Walt Disney - A Magical Life" will open on May 16th.
Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind will close from January 6th to 23rd for refurbishment.
Grizzly River Run will be closed from January 6th to March 13th for its annual refurbishment.
The Red Car Trolley will close permanently on February 9th. Get your last rides in now!
There are currently no planned closures in the Downtown Disney district.
