This is a new intersection built about five years ago for a development, but it was only in flash until 2016 sometime.
This intersection has black mast arm poles, and black lights with black backplates. It has Novax buttons with a male TTS voice, which Novax with a male voice is rather unusual.
When the intersection and buttons first came into regular service, one or multiple of the buttons were stuck and didn't work right, and made the whole system keep recalling. Thankfully this was fixed after a few months. You also originally had to press the buttons to have a walk signal, but when they made the timing on Highland longer in 2019, this was changed so you had a walk signal no matter crossing Spirit only. Crossing Highland was unaffected from before. It also now gives you a 3 second head start crossing both directions now.
