Women also carry out three quarters of the world’s unpaid labor, effectively subsidizing the cost of care that sustains families and supports economies.
In other words, we're strong, but we're also tired. And when it comes to pushing for gender equality, sometimes we feel like we're the only ones in the room.
Working for women's rights should be everybody's business.
At ICTA-UAB, we are working to implement a new Gender Equity Plan, while a group of female researchers have launched a Gender, Care & Power support group.
