Hey guys! Welcome back to the channel. In this video, I wanted to highlight some trends from the spring and summer seasons. I know this video is a bit late, but I put a lot of work into it, so I wanted to release it anyway.

Denim on Denim
Denim on denim is not an unusual trend to see in the Spring and Summer. I've noted this trend in previous trends videos and shown some examples in action. I like outfits that are all denim. I think they give you a lot of opportunities to highlight accessories. One thing I don't see that often is contrasting denim, so that's something I'm really excited to experiment with this season.
Cargo Shorts
This trend shows how quickly something can go from being seen as something you should avoid to something trendy. Cargo shorts and pants historically have been overlooked in favor of a more modern look. Things like chinos, slacks, and denim have been the preference for quite some time. However, it's time for cargo shorts and pants to share in the spotlight.
Vibrant Colors
Vibrant colors are something I know some people like to shy away from, and I think that's completely understandable. More vibrant colors are seen as "loud" colors that draw attention; no worries if you're uncomfortable with that. If you'd like to experiment with vibrant colors, I think there are two ways to do so. First, you can incorporate bold colors all throughout the outfit. I think if you're interested in trying it, you should! Second, if you'd like to start slow, pick one item on your outfit and make that the standout item and develop comfort with there being at least one item that's "eye-catching" on your outfit.
Floral/Nature Inspired
Like the denim trend, this trend frequently appears on the list. This makes sense; when you think about Spring and Summer, you think about things in bloom. However, I like finding new patterns whenever a trend reappears on the list. Usually, I like micro prints and patterns, and I think many people do. This time around, though, I want to incorporate larger patterns.
Baggy or Relaxed Fit
I also added relaxed in here because I think relaxed fits help achieve something similar. The point is to essentially drift away from having fitted clothing for everything. Baggy and relaxed-fit clothing is always comfortable, and there's less concern about it being a perfect fit. More comfort and less stress, what's not to like?
