Hi there, it's Eileen. I've been on a break from being a healthcare professional for a while now. Things can sometimes get a bit quiet, but for the most part, I'm really enjoying my boring and quiet life. After overworking for years, I now find slow living rather refreshing and liberating. I will be forever thankful that I came across minimalism when I did. Mind you, I'm not a 'typical' minimalist, in fact I love my curated designer collection, but adopting a mindful spending mindset has completely changed the trajectory of my life. This is by no means happily-ever-after, but I'm so grateful that my life choices have allowed me to live the kind of life I had fantasised for a long time. Perhaps I will return to the profession one day, but at least I will be able do it knowing I haven't missed out on anything I wanted to try for myself xx
