Unarguably, Clive Wearing is one of Psychology's, Biology's, and Medicine's greatest cases. He has taught us so much about memory formation, consolidation, and brain regions associated with it such as the hippocampus and cerebellum. Thanks to Clive's amnesia, we know more about human memory than we really have any right to know.
