We open with a brief history of the vulnerability management program at Facebook and its evolution. What follows is a deep dive of our current system architecture, the design that allowed us to scale to scanning millions of devices and software packages deployed in our infrastructure to discover vulnerabilities, and the network of partners around us to get patches deployed.
