Last July (2018), fresh off my second back surgery, my wife got me a project to work on so that my glassy eyed, opioid filled, trapped in the house with no way out (I could keep going, but no one reads video descriptions) self could have something to concentrate on to stay somewhat sane!
She located a broken Macintosh for free, picked it up, and brought it home for me. I was very excited about this project, but 50 times more excited when I realized it was an Apple Macintosh Color Classic, which is a pretty rare computer that collectors seem to really want to get their hands on! It was an honor for me to learn how to fix one of these.
It came to me with no power, and I had no experience in fixing these computers at all, so I went on a rampage trying to figure out what to do, and this video is a documentary of my journey. My very terrifying journey!!!!
It took all these months to get this out because I finally got around to editing it :-)
