A No Deal Brexit could result in 48 hour delays at Dover, according to a leaked government document which suggests a chaotic split from the EU would grind UK supply chains to a halt and ruin the plans of holidaymakers. Hauliers responded to the revelation by claiming that a No Deal divorce on October 31 represented a 'clear and present danger' to British industry. Downing Street did not deny the claims made in a Sky News report as a spokesman said today that the government has been making 'extensive preparations for leaving the EU in all eventualities'.
