President Park will attend the Chinese military′s parade in Beijing， in celebration of the 70th anniversary of Japan′s surrender in World War Two.
Her office says the president decided to attend the September 3rd event at the Tiananmen Square， considering Seoul′s friendly cooperative relations with Beijing， and hopes for Beijing′s future role in bringing peace and unification on the Korean Peninsula.
The presidential office in Seoul adds President Park′s appearance will be in remembrance of Koreans′ struggle for independence from Japan′s colonial rule in China.
On September 2nd， the first day of her three－day visit to China， President Park will hold summit talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
