If you have trained for a marathon, it's safe to say that you had that one long training run just before you start tapering off for race time. The distance and time vary for each runner, but the workout is consistent and essential to every marathon training plan.
Over the years, NAZ Elite coach Ben Rosario has refined a specific workout for the NAZ Elite team. The Long Run with a Push aims to maximize that longest run you do before a marathon by adding 3-6 miles of harder work at the end of the run.
