Athirappilly: Forest Department clarified that no construction had been done on its land in Athirappilly. A transformer was set up on the land adjoining forest land in Kannankuzhi on 15 July. The land earmarked for power house is close to this. Forest department has no information regarding the construction and it has also issued instructions not to enter the area without permission. Meanwhile, Kanam Rajendran said that the construction activities in Athirappilly should not be taken seriously.
