Monitor Publications in partnership with Agricultural Business Initiative, Heifer International, Post Bank Uganda, Uganda Coffee Development Authority and Makerere University Agricultural Research Institute have launched The seeds of Gold Farm Clinic 2017 in the central region. The clinic will provide practical knowledge to bridge the gap between the will to farm and succeeding at it. Daily Monitor through its weekly seeds of gold Magazine hopes to solve challenges in the sector, like expensive or poor quality inputs and limited markets among others, which have hindered growth. Monitor Publications Managing Director Tony Glencross says farmers will be treated to practical training on climate and smart farming in areas of Dairy, Piggery, Passion fruits, Bananas and Coffee.
